The Beast of the Brain
He was my first love
Till death do us part!
A past full of memories and joy
He has always owned my heart
I have always held these memories dear
Remembering every last one
But the beast of the brain has devoured
And He is the unlucky one
When I look to him, I see my husband
But he sees me as a familiar stranger
He asks me our daughter's name
Because he has already forgot her
Is he the one who really surfers from the disease?
The beast has taken him away from me!
At times I see his past personality shine through
He is the same man that I love and knew
