The Best Prince of Them All

There is a Prince so mighty and so grand
who created the sky, the sea, the land.
But, the best creation He formed would be
His bride: mankind, with Him eternally.
There is no limit to His great power,
and He is not bound by place nor hour.
Yet He gave men free will truly to be,
divided or with Him -- forever free.
Men chose their way and in sin did fall.
What would the Prince do to conquer this wall?
He would leave His Father and His glory,
then give His life in a death so gory.
For only their Prince who walks on water --
the Lamb, the Savior, the Son, the Potter --
could save them by His suffering blood shed,
and crush the fiery black dragon's head.
He took men's sinful ways and tore the veil,
and opened the way for men's Holy Grail.
Though He died on that splintered blood-stained tree,
on the third day He rose for all to see!
Now the Prince has forever saved His bride!
This Divine love story ever resides
in the hearts and minds of all who believe
only He's the way this gift is received.
