The bibliophile is a creature of an odd sort,
A lover of books in a world with thoughts ever so short.
But don’t let the world fool you, they aren’t a dying breed.
Just not everyone can follow the bibliophile’s creed.
The bibliomania of a bibliophile is unbeatable,
By others, it’s hardly conceivable.
So don’t be discouraged,
When by a bibliophile you are challenged.
For the bibliophile is a creature of an odd sort,
But not of a sort to be thwart.
