The birthday party

By Markjay

The long awaited moment finally drawn near,
Birds chirping in distances with joy,
Sweet melodies of love swarming the warm air,
To celebrate a king being born.

Memories of life the air brings,
Engolfed in realms of sweet music,
Birthday wishes rendered with love,
Sang in rhymes, poetry and songs.

Happiness filling the room,
And the place the celebrant stood,
Brethrens greeting with a hug and handshake,
While others danced as they cut the white cake.

Birthday birthday birthday these tones sounding repeatedly,
The drinks and refreshments abounding unlimitedly,
May this day never end people muttering aloud,
Their joy full to the brim while they danced around.
