The Blackbird

Sitting high up in a tree,
A little blackbird spoke to me.
Its feathers gleamed so shiny too,
Like roses cloaked with morning dew.
It cocked its head and seemed to say,
Is this the way you spend your day?
Eying my style with interest keen,
The world will know what I have seen.
