The Bloom

The flower of love
Its petals so frail
Laced with the wishes of a thousand souls
Grows toward the light
Its elegance, ornate
Willing to reach unfillable holes
He twines and twists in his beautiful ascent
Gracing the hearts he meets with delicate kisses
And slowly, he blooms
With jubilant leaves outstretched
Filling the world with his intoxicating whispers
