The Blue House

where the children laugh and play
in the mellow light of day
in front of the Blue House

where the grass grows emerald green
but no one is seen
all around the Blue House

"Where are the owners?" some may ask
because it must be a difficult task
to preserve the Blue House

where none enter, none leave
it's abandoned most believe
this is the Blue House

no one dares go in
for very few have been
inside the Blue House

where lightning never strikes
some say it's ghostlike
the forgotten Blue house

many stories and rumors are shared
hearing those tales make most people scared
but nobody knows the Blue House

like I do.
