The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

A small family living in Berlin
Had to leave home for a very big job
Little did they know it was a very big sin
All that Bruno could do was sob

The first task for Bruno was to explore
He began with the house, and then with the yard
Hoping he would find something more
He went to the window and looked out afar

He discovered a fence with a whole different side
Bruno had no extra time to spend
He found a small Jewish boy trying to hide
Bruno and the boy became the best of friends

Bruno decided to sneak under the fence
Fighting to move through the terrible weather
He put on the pajamas, feeling quite tense
Hundreds of people were herded together

He thought they were going inside to stay dry
But little did he know, they were going to die
