The cabin
The cabin.
The cabin in the woods.
Peaceful, lovely, warm.
The song of birds,
Animals peek through the trees.
The quietness the contentment.
Ordinary days spent in wonder.
The rippling of the creek.
Sun sets on the day,
Twilight has come.
Owls hoot, sounds of crickets,
Whipperwill songs.
Moonlight through the trees.
Millions of stars sparkle like gems
In the sky.
Beautiful peaceful heaven.
