The Cat

The cat sleeps
Curled up in a ball
Oblivious to everything
around him.
Sleeping peacefully
in front of a heater.
His breathing is slow and steady.
His chest rises and falls in rythum.
His feet move sometimes,
as if chasing a mouse.
Then he settles once again,
Into Comfort.
