The Christmas Wish

"The Night Star shining from the distance
with people traveling from near and far
For Everyone to see,
With the touching of the heart and the true
Memory's of those many years ago as you begin
to learn about me."

"I show my light in the direction where you may
walk, and I hear all the excitement from the young
and the old as they talk,
"As I travel and I hear the echo's of prayers that
Our all wished upon and told,
With the winds howling and the snow beginning
to blow, as the evening air turns to cold."

"My brightness, bringing together family's even if
It's only for this Christmas Day,
With the sounds of the season playing in
the background, and the children going
outside to play."

"Imprints of snow angels all lacing onto the ground,
With the laughter of the children that could be heard
From a few houses down,
Giving way to a sky with a unending light, Glowing
through the grays of darkness all through the night."
