The Clover

By Naveen

I gazed upon a clover
with 4 bulging leaves
it was light green colour
so I slid it in my shirt sleeves

I went home
thinking about my luck
until I tripped over a garden gnome
hurting my stomach

I got myself back up
and dusted it off
only to see a angry pup
which made me take off

After escaping the angry feline
I went for my pocket which had my phone
but the emptiness sent shivers down my spine
there was nothing but the clover alone
