The Club Scene

Lights flicker, the flashing of night
Feelings of anxiety, passion, and fright
People put on their nicest of clothes
A few drinks before and some candy for the nose
The day is dead and its time to dance
Bets go off on who will get in her pants
Slaves to the beats, we forget who we are
Throwing money down like we own the bar
Holding partners close we move to the sound
Listen to the music for which we are bound
Let the pills take effect, the colors so pure
Getting lucky tonight for this we are sure
The club scene justifies our human right
For a moment we believe it will be forever night.
