The Color Black

At the end of the day you are still a blackman
full of rage and unwilling to be tamed
because your mother is white you cling to her saying
i am white look at me, but at the end of the day
you are still a blackman
with the blood of your black father which defines you
his color which is black and oh so beauitful
and at the end of the day you are still a blackman
full of rage and unwilling to be tamed
tears down his black sisters with the words
that scorn and cut as if it were a two edge sword
she carrys your pain.and at the end of the you are still a blackman
a black man that beats his black sisters scoles her mentaly
abuses her tears her down at any given chance she defines you!
the color black which is oh so beauitful
she wears the color with grace and beauty
an because you cannot see me i wear your pain
every time you talk down on me ,i wear your pain
remember me she says,i am your black sister and i wear your pain
strong am i and oh so beauitful,i wear your pain
i respect you my black brother. and i still wear your pain
you cannot destroy me you see,i am strong an oh so beauitful
and because you cannot see me. i am the color of black...
i am the color of black...the color of beauty the color of strenth
the color i wear for my black brother which he does not even see
because i am the color of black..i am the color of black
