the coming of an end

He apologized with an expensive…life for her
Don’t look at how far you’ve got, but look at how far you’ve come to get here
Soak up the Sun, and keep it simple
Stay strong, and hold onto your principles
Don’t worry you’ve already found yourself
If you need to keep looking, there’s always backpacking Europe
Remember you came from a dark place
So where you’ve gotten to today is more than an accomplishment
It’s a take down motherfucker
You saved yourself knowing you weren’t lucky, only fortunate
So now the Warrior stands
Leaning on her sword, she’s saying “Oh Crap”
She’s still there with functional armor and all
That sword is just heavy because it’s made of pure steel
One day she’ll pick it up and start fighting
She’s just working on herself for the time being
Life is a battle you have to swing your sword through
But knowing which direction to do this in is what’s tough
Hey it’s good you’re able to sleep in your bed right now because some choose closets
Because of the lingering fear, the thinking is there are more walls and it’s safest
It’s sad the warrior can’t go into battle because she can’t detect threats
She’d love to fight the Hell out of life right now, but she needs to regain her health
To anyone leaning on their sword a little, remember these are God’s fingerprints
Nobody’s the same in battle, and this is your movie to feature
One day you’ll hit life and knock it over sideways
In a good way, but today is not the day
Time won’t take away these feelings of wanting to win already
If you think that way about your timeline, life won’t be all-embracing
Mirror mirror on the wall, I’ll remember where I started from if you’ll show me the end
If death is your end, then life has endlessness
Then, she thanked Him for the wonderful gift He gave
She’d take the battles of her life like it was the 300,000 and she had the Spirit of the 300 of Gideon
