The Crowned Statue

She stands 305 feet tall proud,
Along with a gleaming crown,
Her light shines bright to all.

With 7 points on her crown,
Those coming from across the sea
Will soon see the new shining sea.

They carry a big weight,
Although she carries 225 tons.
Her crown glowing in the night sky.

Gifted from France she made us all dance,
She gave immigrants a chance.

She holds JULY IV MDCCLXXVI in her hand,
Her book was freedoom,
She represented independence like an adult.

We could not be dependent on others anymore,
We have the chance to make the most of one point on her crown.

Winning independence from the British,
She is the crowned queen of American democracy.

Built on Liberty Island.
