The Curse of the Slumber

The slumber is evil it hurts I can’t take the pain much longer the pain of trying to stay awake but the day I fall asleep my soul will be lost my family will cry my friends will be in sorrow and emptiness inside. The slumber takes your soul devours it never letting go holding on with a tight grip in its claw like a sloth attach to a tree my dark thoughts have told me to slumber I can’t hold out I won’t make it. My eyes are drying up my chest is starting to stop my brain is starting to sleep but the slumber will take my soul as I finally rest my eyes waiting for my soul to be devoured by the darkness of night this is the only time I would find peace.
