The Dance of God

The voice of God resounded
In a song of jubilee.
Let there be light was spoken,
And so it came to be,
That when illusion casts a spell,
Upon this soul with fear,
I say the words “Let there be light”,
And watch doubt disappear.
For spoken was the living word,
Incarnate in a man.
The dance of God made human,
So we could understand,
That no thing on this planet,
Not height, nor depth below,
Can cause the separation,
Of what God has bestowed.
So in these times of turmoil,
Where darkness seems to reign,
The light is here among us,
So call upon his name.
