The Darkness Yields

The Darkness Yields

In the deepened darkness the blackness yields.
To pale silvered passions among sandy fields.

Finding depths to which none have seen.
Now it illuminates the floor of the sea.

Silver beams sprout from this glowing token.
A signet of loving words once softly spoken.

In its past, this necklace sat to rest,
within the heat of his lovers chest.

Looped astride the silver strands,
endless affection heating the ocean sands.

When infinite care fell to disastrous cause.
Yet their love lived on, without a pause.

And burning brightly there shined a token,
signifying a love never broken.
