The Dawn

You know that feeling
When you wake up
Unsure if you will be able
To make it through another day?

Wishing that, like in the past,
Sleep could take away
Everything you've experienced
That has made you feel this way.

The night is only a temporary remedy
And the thing is,
In the morning it hits you
But ten times worse.

Unable to escape the dawn
You will keep to yourself,
Overthinking throughout the day
Trying to convince yourself to STOP;

That your mind

Is not a curse.
