The Day Ends ( the Sun Goes Down)

the day ends when the sun goes down,
the night starts when the darkness surrounds.
Life cries out when this circle breaks,
Lava spews out as the Earth begins to shake.
Seizing the voice inside societies head,
and gunshots are heard amidst the crowding dead.
Dreams of a neuronic ocean proceeds,
While tectonic nightmares are conceived.
Reading about the existence of an afterlife,
Describing eternity inside my own mind.
Bleeding a trail on this unknown road,
When shadows recall the sins in the grove.
Reaping the lust of a garden preceding,
and denying the gift I was receiving.
Judgment calls for this life to end,
the broken wound that will never mend.
As I feel the burning tears that run down my cheek;
I drive the knife deeper so that my heart can speak.
Soulful whispers that decay into growls.
the day ends when the sun goes down.
