The Day The World Came To An End

The sun shine bright that morning,
But by noon, a darkness rose.
Covering the planet;
And making good friends foes.
By night, there was no sun left.
Not a star that would shine bright.
And even those who we're best friends,
Now began to fight.
They were killing one another.
Yes, fighting to the death.
But by morning it was over;
For not one of them where left.
The world just seemed to end that day.
Thank God, it was a dream.
At least, that's what I'm hoping;
And not the future I have seen.
