The Days I Love

Peeking out the window in the morning
The summer clouds are barely there
The mourning dove carries his joyful chirping
Filling up confidence for the day
I dress up in my best
Feeling great the sunshine beats down
Flowers fill the scene with beauty
Overwhelmed by the colors I walk in silence
Many thoughts fill my mind
Days pass a crimson white replace the colors
Every snowflake filled with their own uniqueness
Love is absorbed surrounded by family
Cold runs as rainbows appear
Pitter patter rain splatters
Tucked away safely there is nothing to fear
