The Deal

Let it take over you,
Feels good, doesn't it?
A wave of comprehension and pain,
Where it all never and always makes sense,
Always there to question your answers,
Always there to kill your patience.
The place where no deity ever lurks,
Just your mind left to wander,
Left to wonder and to drive you insane.
Drop a tear of your red,
Sign the deal, make it straight,
Your life, soul, and your heart,
All belong to it now,
Sign the bloody deal,
Red ink on the dotted line.
Never go back to what was fake,
To what is an illusion.
Sign it, and it will all be dark,
All will be real.
