The Debt

ha ha you laugh
while the man sleeps
you live on while
the ground weeps
it knows your deeds
but you don't care
the cries are loud
but you don't hear
end of the rope
your sunset's near
beautiful child
but you still enslaved him
now you got to wonder
who's the ghost that claims him
free like a bird
innocent like
the birds, bees and the wildlife
it was man's greed
the poison seed
you're wrong too as you stood in silent
game of guilt knows no bystanders
this is a debt
do you hear yourself
when you say"get over it!"?
A debt is a debt and it must be paid
Now you must lie in the bed you once had made
