The Deception in Compassion

Acts of pride often repeated,
kindness made so self-conceited,
deeds of honor, done in spite,
doing wrong, like wrong is right.

Death to love, your love is fake,
all you do is for your sake,
real love is like a cure,
selfless, much more soft and pure.

All your morals are distorted,
like your ethics, they're contorted,
what you seek, your selfish gain,
will bring upon you wretched pain.

Better to be harsh and real,
better to act how you feel,
lose your mask of good reception,
I won't stand for this deception.
