The Deep End

Crows fly away
Off into the deepness
That dark feeling persists
But then the blackbirds start singing
In fear, they spread their wings
Is this all there is to Life?
They question every last thing
Tinkering thoughts turn into their music notes
The blackbirds sing and sing
Feeding on deep brain matter
Trying to make everything a bit better
Hear the melody
Of reverse psychology
Blackbirds line empty phone lines
Where there is no communication,
The blackbirds accumulate
Singing a tune
Off into the deep emptiness
Just to see if anyone is listening
