The defrosting

Frozen
over time
a block of ice
clear
but solid
a few rays of sun
hit that which seems so hard
a defrosting
...begins...
day by day
warmed
ray by ray
water drips
into pools
...the thawing...
the rays
stronger
make each layer
weaker
moment by moment
that which was so solid
is now a liquid
melted into puddles
...evaporated
till the day
the ice has gone away
...the heart beats...
..freely...
gone,
every icy memory
