The Dream of America

From the Caribbean Sea to the Guantanamo Bay shores
Pursuing a dream no other can ignore
The ambition to grasp a life I desire
Risking it all for the freedom I require
Not knowing what lies ahead through these crashing ocean waves
Aspiring to the grail for these barriers I must outbrave
Renouncing the desolation of the life I had before
The Dream of America is one I can explore
Endeavoring through trials of this diminutive living space
Nine days was the epoch of my displace
Petrified of the unknown future
Clinging to my God as my assurer
This is the Dream of America that I seek
The unique adoration no other can tweak
