The Dreamer

Some people are afraid to dream
As before when they've dreamt
Their dream was torn apart by
Their doubts unknowingly kept!

And that precious little gem
That once did easily shine
Lost the sparkle of its hope
By doubts clawing in the mind

So don't be too afraid to dream
Of a better world to mold
Or of the God-like possibilities lying
Asleep in your soul

And if the winds of dark depression
Come whistling 'round your ears
Bid them blow a happy tune
For a dreamer's dreaming here!
