The Edge

I wanted to keep my crown
Not cast it down
To roll in shining splendor
To the edge of the sea

I'm scared of this holy place
Where flames erase
The things I'm grasping, holding
Things I think are me

I will be lost

You want me to give, not keep
To see the deep
Your love in shining splendor
Just the edge of the sea

I lift up and cast my crown
I throw it down
To roll in shining splendor
To the edge of the sea

Your feet on the golden shore
The crowns forming heaven's floor
You reign in shining splendor
On the glassy sea

I am found.
