The Empath

The unloveable learn to love by self-discovered empathy
Immersing themselves, with written descriptions of sympathy
They weep through silent tears
and while theirs dry
They help navigate others' fears
They know all too well the claws of despair
That rip into their hearts heeding little to no care
Yet, while they bleed,
They are always mending the wounds of others in need
