The Enchanting Sun

You are my light
My source of glee
So far away, yet so close to me
My heart, it roars when you are nowhere to be seen
Without you, life seems less serene
I pray for you every night and day
And wish for you to be here, so I can play
Your beauty resembles the clear water of the lagoon
I really long to see you soon
I try to be strong, don't get me wrong
But with your enchanting presence, life is a song
I see you peaking through those big white pillows in the sky
You finally came back to me
Why did it take so long, sun?
My oh my, why?
