The End of a Forever Summer

I thought this would forever last
even if this love was as fragile as glass
this shimmering summer sky
is now waving bye
the sun is no longer shining bright
it has become a depressing sight
the ending of a forever summer
I no longer have the heart beat of a drummer
now the leaves are falling
while I'm on the ground bawling
but I should have known
you never were capable of picking up the phone
I just wanted you to admit you were wrong
but you go along
as if I never met anything to you
but that is okay too
now that I have moved on
I will no longer be your pawn
happiness has completely taken over me
I am finally free
