The faces of courage.

By

What does courage in the face of
danger look like? Yellow lines warn of turbulent curves.
Each moment of their determination
calms nerves.
Walks of strength even thru the strike.
Like the variety in a flower garden are
the brave. From oval, square and round are the shape of these caretakers.
Unified by the strength in the exposed
eyes of these valued partakers.
Their mission is to save.
Minute to minute, unfreezing their steps.
Testing, scanning, and watching those
in need.
Sharing the gift of company to feed.
Wake up, go to work all in reps.
Looking thru the glass of uncertainty.
Gracefully letting early dawn's hope.
When night arrives, the stars say cope.
Gratitude to essential people a certainty.
