The Fall

I fell slowly, then all at once

When she first laughed, a subconscious smile fell across my face
Her effortless beauty entrapped me, and I willingly submitted
She quickly rewrote my definition of perfection

And when she smiled, the room's splendor paled instantly
My surroundings faded into a white noise
Her eyes narrowed into the most beautiful shapes imaginable

I lose track of time
I forget my worries
I am completely immersed in this faultless being

She caught my attention once
And from that moment, she alone was my universe
