The Fall Down

Everyone says it's how you rise
But, it's about how you fall,
You can only win the prize
When you forget to stand tall

Be yourself, they say,
Then they push you down,
There will come a day,
When you hear the sound,

You hear the sound of silence,
When everyone knows your name,
You'll see them tense,
When you step up your game,

The day when no one pushes you,
And everyone stares,
Because you sat at the bottom,
And worked your way up there.

No matter how many people shove you down... When you learn to stand on your own, then you will shine brighter than any star.
