The fallout

And here we are
The bird chirped it out
Its feathers we plucked
And its skin we tore

Now the bird silenced lay
And slowly turned to clay
My heart in its chest does not beat
Its coating couldnt keep the heat

Down the feathers fell
Floor and grass it hit
Our song it gargled down
And spit it out in a gulp

The wind is calming
Down my hair
And my stone slowly calmly beat
I will repair the tear

This time on my own
