The Fear

Isn't it frightening?
When you have to walk alone in the storm and lightening
When the phantoms and rustling leaves start to freak you out
And you begin to doubt
It seems macabre
That you are being followed by a stranger
So you start to pace out of hell
But his ego went higher and your dignity fell
When he was able to grab your dress
You felt agitated and depressed
Trembling, you screamed
But then you accepted that you were unredeemed
That there was no help
Despaired and destroyed, you felt
And even though you reached home
You still felt abandoned and alone
Because the world is misinformed
Because you aren't believed
And the only thing that would make you feel relieved
Is justice and fairness
Freeedom and awareness
A world where we get our oppurtunities and rights
Where you can walk harmlessly
Even in the darkest nights
