The fear of fire

I see fire spreading in the land
the trees being burned down
keeping all the creatures at bay
the only option is turning away
every time ending up with catching
the flames thus being afraid of touching
yet an inhibited glimpse turning into a long stare
considering beauty in the destruction
contemplation of evanescence just to be aware
changing all the pain into satisfaction
wild conflagration that no matter how
hard you try to control
it doesn't work after all
it reins your property here and now
don't throw so much water flavored
with your fears
sorrows might be real but it's too late
for your tears
what if the fire doesn't want to be fought with
maybe searching for a natural habitat to live in
just being in the constant need of
giving the right people warmth

called so many people myself
still haven't found a house with a fireplace
