The Fence

I glare, fixed gaze, split rail,
Then to what would it prevail?
All alone standing the time test,
Borders and boundaries it does suggest.
No allowance for free-thinking men;
To feel alive is mortal sin.
Rules and regulations hinder my creativity,
Tangle the thoughts and hamper harmony.
Nature nullifies but it takes time-
Our abuse, absurd as a paradigm.
Destructive and deceptive with no foresight;
Paragon of pride, an ignorant erudite.
Any answer to this complex enigma?
Pernicious parasite is the human stigma.
Nature has no hope; I sense
The ugly power of a fence.
