The Final Destination

I've said my nightly prayers
Hollow words and hastened ends.
I fed the poor and clothed the sick,
But abandoned family and friends.
I always did what was right,
Except in the comfort of solitude.
I never brought anyone harm,
Though much pain I silently viewed.
In my eyes, I've done it all right,
Though there is no way to tell,
Will I be rewarded with heaven,
Or doomed to eternal hell?
