The Fire

This is not something for you to admire
It is only a story of one man's desire
The thing I want most, that I wish to acquire
Is easily found if you have a supplier
But I won't look too hard, see I'm not a buyer
I know what you're thinking, but I'm not a lier
At times it's in front of you like the words on a flyer
When your heart speeds up and you start to perspire
Thats when you know that you've found the fire
But if it burns up, don't be a crier
For you see nothing gets me higher
Than anticipation, the temptation intensifier
Leads to that which you seek, as forementioned prior
This tale is spun like the clothes in a dryer
Meant to mislead and diceive the entire
Plot, which yearns to burn hot
Like a bolt of lightning through a copper wire
Just another four letter word, that I call the fire
