The Flaming Girl

It was then that I saw her
The flaming girl
Brilliant fire outlining every curl
I wanted to scream for help
I wanted to run for water
But I could not
She was just too beautiful
With golden hair, and eyes like blue flames
I could not move
I was transfixed
Spellbound by her burning beauty
We touched hands, and I felt a screaming pain
I had killed her
I had taken away her fire
I should have known
I am water
