The Forest Over There

If you are so lucky to meet the edge
you shall stumble upon an old green hedge
beyond this the sleepy forest lies
invaded with the grace of the skies
who truly knows the beauty within the growth
most eyes never see but for me both
The life that is so hidden away
is the one that has to pay
we destroy beauty for our greed
we destroy life for our need
one day nothing will stand
the forest over there will be a brand
lets praise what we have for now
and promise to take a vow
to let the air and the trees
live long let the leaves quiver in the breeze
to save what were given is only fair
long live the forest over there
