The Forgotten

Untangle and slice the rotted velvet ribbon
that has been silently suffocating
very last ounce of our transparent universe.
Where,
The flowers have wilted and tarnished
into dull fragile pigments with jagged charcoal remnants.
Where,
The seas have buckled over and filled up
with leftover tragedies and broken memories
from the forgotten times.
Where,
The once vivid and inspiring souls
have crumbled into a wallowing and hallow creatures
so unfamiliar and peculiar to the remembrance of the mind.
Where,
There are just outspoken cries and quietly faint echoes
fading into the dull abyss of darkness.
For
This is not a fantasy
but
a nightmare that spilled from our dream.
