The four seasons of life

By Emma Xu

One day,
The leaves will fall - and here will they lay
It is now Autumn - when the days will get dark
Darker and darker each day
Then Winter comes and so will the snow
Soon it’ll be Spring - when the weather will be warm
Sun comes out and so will you!
Enjoy the seasons when you can
Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter
They’ll take turns everywhere
Whether it's here or there
So no need to worry
About the things around you - you won’t be left behind
Neither will I
And no one will ever forget you - you are unique
And so is the Sun
The winds will blow, clouds will form
Above your head
Here comes a storm!
Rain, rain - coming down
Rain, rain - on its way
Who likes rain on a sunny day?
Spring does, Summer shouts
And Autumn squeaks at the sight of rain
Winter, oh Winter - loves the rain much dearly
And Snow too
