The Ghosts Behind the Mirror

Have you ever look into a mirror and just stared
Looking back is this image this figure of a person
Whoever they might be, because when you look at a mirror
You do not just see yourself but that of your parent's
Those who made you;
And you might see one more than the other but they are both there
How nice it must be to those who can still see
For those who can't when you look into the mirror what do you see
Do you just see yourself, do you see ghosts
Are the ghost all you got off that image
Of your image
Ghosts are unique as in they are the memories of those we lost but
Try to hold onto:
So when you look but don't see
It's not because you are the image of ghosts but,
The image of a unique self.
