The Gift of Mercy and Grace

None other than mercy none other than grace,
Was shown on the cross as he took my place,

He could have called a mighty angel band,
To remove the nails from his feet and hands,

Instead he endured all the way to the end,
To cover each and every one of my sins,

It is amazing to me someone could die on a cross,
For a generation of people that are all lost,

Salvation is simple and easy for all,
Just believe on his name and heed to the call,

He has never turned a person away,
Even though he knows we will all stray,

That's just how good he wants to be,
To everyone including you and me,

So whenever you think of straying off,
Just think of him and remember the cross.
