The Girl Who Longed to Be Loved
She felt small,
No one could see her,
No one at all,
She was open,
she was honest,
So, she didn't know how to put up walls.
Longed to be loved,
She would open her heart fearlessly and let them in,
Not realizing the mess they would make,
Big and blue,
Something about her screamed "come cut me open"
You know you want to.
So damaged inside,
She often contemplated,
Laying there while her wrists bleed,
With a note that read "why couldn't you just love me?"
